On Sunday night,Music Archives Alicia Keys took the stage to present the award for Best Male Video at the VMAs.

But before presenting the award, Keys took a moment to honor Martin Luther King Jr., whose "I Have a Dream" speech turned 53 on Sunday.

Keys performed an impromptu poem before breaking into a cappella.

Keys then presented the award to Calvin Harris for his video for "This Is What You Came For," featuring Rihanna.
